Summer Training on C++

Abhikalan, The Society of Computer Science in association with Radha Govind Group of Institutions, Meerut is conducting summer training on “C++” from 19 June 15, 2017.C++ ranks 4th in popularity according to 2016 IEEE spectrum Top Programming Language ranking.

Mr. Arvind Kumar, Assistant Professor Department of Computer Science will deliver the training mentioned above. This training will be conducted for the students at RGGI Campus.

Radha Govind Group of Institutions and Abhikalan,The Society of Computer Science, jointly organizing 6 weeks summer training on Android. Our 6 weeks certification course contains basic to advanced level knowledge. The objective of this summer is to impart that quality education to students which will help them convert their theoretical knowledge and fundamentals into practice and innovate new ideas and explore them with their own free will and space. This training will be conducted for the students at RGGI Campus. Resource person for summer training on Android will be Ms. Parinita Agarwal.

Tree Plantation-2017

Tree Plantation-2017

Abhikalan, The Society of Computer Science and Radha Govind Group of Institutions, Meerut jointly organized The Tree Plantation Program in the college campus on April, 27 2017.

Director RGGI, Prof. Neeraj Kumar participated in the program and said, ‘Tree plantation can reduce global warming which is the main reason of climate change.Plantation was done by the students of B.Tech 2013-2017 Batch. An oath was also taken by all the members there and that was “Plant a tree, so that next generation can get air for free”.

The various Dignitaries were also present in this program i.e Dr. Amit Sharma PS to chairman, Prof. P.K. Singh, Prof. Tarun Gupta, Prof. K.C. Agarwal, Mr. Jay Kumar, Mr. S.K. Singh, Mr. Sandeep Sharma, Mr. Arun Bhardwaj & all other faculty members of various department.

Intra College Project Competition-2017

Intra College Project Exhibition-2017

Every year Radha Govind Group of Institutions organizes Intra College Project Exhibition to aspire young mind to dream and innovate. It provides an opportunity for all talented students to showcase their innovative projects in diverse area of interest. Project exhibition at RGGI offers the passionate a platform to display their inner skill. It also serves as a bridge to fill the gap between academia and industries where the industries can feel the pulse of future engineer and empower the young talent to excel in the area of innovation and technology. These activities are promoted to encourage the young scientists to register for patents.

This year also Intra College Project Exhibition-2017 was organized on 08 May 2017 at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Library. This competition was open for the students of B.Tech and MCA. The event started at 11:00 AM with kind words of Hon’ble Chairman RGGI. Director RGGI addressed the audience with his inspirational words which overwhelmed everyone. The various Dignitaries present at the event were Prof P.K Singh, Prof B.S Tyagi, Dr. Tarun Kumar and Dr. Amit Sharma.

After introduction of the concept, all the students took their positions to present their projects and jury members evaluated the projects based on certain pre defined parameters according to group numbers allotted by the registration team. There were 28 groups in all. The results were evaluated and winners were finalized by evaluation team. The winners were awarded with certificates and prizes.
The top three winners of the exhibition were:

Second Prize

Project Name: Increasing Discharging time of battery by optimizing fan response
Group Members: Shrey Kumar, Ajay Prakash Sharma, Arun Kumar

 

Third Prize

Project Name: RASTREO
Group Members: Rishabh Saxena, Saneesh Maheshwari, Harshita Raghuvanshi, Abhishek Garg

And rest of the groups was awarded with certificates and consolation prizes.

The function started by welcoming the final year students of MBA with Tilak ceremony & presented mementos as a token of love. The girl students were adorned in saris, the boys complemented them in formals.

 “Don’t cry because you are leaving, smile because you were here.”

Abhikalan, The Society of Computer Science and Department of Computer Science and Engineering, jointly organized a Farewell Party-2017 for B.Tech CS/IT (2013-2017) batch students on 6, May 2017 in the campus of Radha Govind Group of Institutions, Meerut

The various Dignitaries were present at the event i.e Hon’ble Shri  Yogesh Tyagi (Chairman RGGI) , Prof Neeraj Kumar, Director, RGGI, Dr. Amit Sharma (PS to chairman) , Mr. Sandeep Sharma (Controller of Examination) and Respected HOD’s of other departments. The event started at 2 PM with the welcome speech given by Priya Tiwari and Jyoti Vihan followed by precious words from our Hon’ble Chairman Shri Yogesh Tyagi.

The audiences were highly overwhelmed with kind words of our Director Prof. Neeraj Kumar. After the motivational words, the mementos were presented to the passing out students by Respected Chairman, Director of RGGI and Dr. B.S. Tyagi.

 Meanwhile Shubham Tyagi and Pooja Sagar from B.Tech third Year sang melodious songs which made the evening memorable. Few questions like the girl with highest heels, girl with cosmetic items in purse, girl with large number of bangles, boy with blue/pink socks, boy with photographs of his parents in wallet were asked and the winners were appreciated with chocolate hampers. 

A ramp walk was organized for students of final year to make the event sparkling. The students were judged on the basis of their attire, intelligence and personality by the jury. Meanwhile the final year students presented a priceless token of respect and love to the whole Department of Computer Science in shape of memories incorporated in a beautiful frame.

The jury got ready with the results which are as follows Mr. Farewell –Mr. Rishabh Saxena Ms. Farewell- Shivani Tyagi Mr. Attractive – Mr. Pushkit Arora Ms. Attractive – Avni Sharma. The winners were awarded with sash, bouquet and crown (for girls).

 “As you embark upon a new path, let us wish you many moments of happiness success and achievements. May in each moment you live your dreams”

The ceremony continued with the motivational words for bright future and success in every walk of life by the entire faculty members present there. Heart –Touching Memories in the form of movie was presented by Harshita Raghuvanshi of B.Tech Third Year which made the environment emotional and sensitive. The party ended with the refreshment.

A big thank you to all B.Tech Third & Second Year students who managed this event in a spontaneous manner and without them this event would not have been possible.

Abhikalan The society of Computer Science conducted the group photograph session for the students of B.Tech CS/IT Final Year on 27, April 2017 at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Library, Swami Vivekanand Bhawan, Radha govind Group of Institutions, Meerut.

In this event Prof. Neeraj Kumar, Director RGGI, Prof. Tarun Kumar Gupta, Mr. Jay Kumar Head, Department of Computer Science, Mr. Arvind Kumar (Asst Prof CS dept), Ms. Vijaya Singh (Asst Prof CS dept), Ms. Aditi Tyagi (Asst Prof CS dept), Ms. Parinita Agarwal (Asst Prof CS dept) were also present.

A big thank you to Dr. Amit Sharma for their contribution. We are also grateful to our final and third year students for the support.
