Techovation PPT Presentation Competition

Radha Govind Group of Institutions, Meerut in association with Abhikalan, The Society of Computer Science organized a “Techovation” Power Point Presentation Competition on 15 October, 2016 at Seminar Hall-01, 9:30 AM.
Rules and Criteria for PowerPoint Presentation Competition are:
1. It is a group activity and students can participate in a group of two or more.
2. The presentation time will be 15 minutes (Max.).
3. The PPT should include Name, Branch and Semester.
4. The presentation should be motivational and inspire students to discover the connections between topic and presentation.
5. The Language of presentation will be English only.
“Creativity is thinking up new things. Innovation is doing new things.”
Techovation is the combination of technology and innovation. The competition was open for all branches where students demonstrated the latest technologies via presentation. Students were blessed by the valuable presence of Managing Director Prof. Ekram Husain, Director Prof. P.K. Singh and other dignitaries.
It began with the introduction of jury members followed by rules for the competition. The show was presented by Shivee Gautam and Richa Ohja. The Groups were judged on the basis of content, presentation skills, weightage of topic and questionnaire and the time limit was 15 minutes. In between there was a technical and general questionnaire round with gifts for right answer. There were 7 groups who participated in this event. All groups did a remarkable job.
First prize was given to Group-4 (Divya Singh, Yashi Goel, Tulika Sharma and Rashi Sharma) from B.Tech 3rd year CSE, who gave a presentation on Augmented Reality. It is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user’s view of the real world, thus providing a composite view.
Second prize was for Group-6 (Aryan Tyagi, Shakti Sharma, Pankaj Saini, Sidhant Tomar) from B.Tech 1st year (CSE). They presented and demonstrated on the topic LASER and totally influenced the audience.
And the third position holder was Group-3 (Priya Tiwari and Jyoti Vihan) from B.Tech 3rd year (CSE) where they explained the latest topic Machine learning. It is a type of artificial intelligence (AI) that provides computers with the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed.
Students were not only awarded but also got opportunity to get valuable suggestions by Managing Director, RGGI on how to improve their skills and also how to attract the audience. And finally the successful event was concluded by assistant Prof Arvind kumar with a vote of thanks to all students and faculty members for the support.
